Special grant with new RM300-mil rate has been paid to Sabah, Sarawak: Anwar

The payment of the 2023 special grants at the new rate of RM300 million to the state governments of Sabah and Sarawak has been completed.

Budget 2024 saw the government increase its allocation for Sabah and Sarawak, with RM12.4 billion allocated cumulatively for the Borneo regions, with RM6.6 billion for Sabah and RM5.8 billion for Sarawak respectively.
