Use Asian Cup to boost credibility ahead of World Cup, Hamidin tells M’sian referees

Football Association of Malaysia president Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin is banking on referee Muhammad Nazmi Nasaruddin and assistant referees Mohamad Zairul Khalil Tan and Mohd Arif Shamil Abd Rasid to carry out their duties impeccably at the 2023 Asian Cup Finals in Doha, Qatar from January 12 to February 10.

Forty local referees and 14 replay operators are undergoing the second phase of video assistant referee (VAR) training from August 26 to September 11 in preparation for the implementation of the technology in the Malaysia League (M-League).
