Controversial arbitrator had awarded self-proclaimed heirs of the Sulu Sultanate for its claims over Sabah

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said launched the Sulu Fraud vs Malaysia's Truth e-book to mark the progress the Malaysian government has accomplished so far in combating fraudulent Sulu claims.

Penimbang tara Sepanyol yang terbabit dalam tuntutan kumpulan Sulu, Gonzalo Stampa telah didapati bersalah melakukan penghinaan mahkamah dan dihukum penjara selama enam bulan oleh Mahkamah Sepanyol.

Spanish arbitrator Gonzalo Stampa has been sentenced to six months in prison and banned from practising as an arbitrator for a year, after the Spanish courts found him guilty of contempt of court, said Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said.
