KUALA LUMPUR – British-Albanian pop star Dua Lipa has announced a second performance in Malaysia this November after pre-sale tickets to her first show sold out within hours today.

The event organisers, Live Nation, confirmed a second date for her Kuala Lumpur concert in a press statement.

Originally scheduled for a sole performance on November 23, Dua Lipa will now also perform at Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil on November 24.

General ticket sales, priced from RM298 to RM1,098, begin tomorrow (June 11) at 11am.

The three-time Grammy Award-winning singer announced her return to Malaysia for her Radical Optimism Asia tour on Instagram last month.

Her Malaysian fans eagerly responded, resulting in a swift sell-out of tickets.

Dua Lipa’s Asia tour includes stops in Singapore on November 6, the Philippines on November 13, Japan on November 16 and 17, Taiwan on November 20, Thailand on November 27, and South Korea on December 4.

Her third studio album, Radical Optimism, dropped in May, and features hit singles like Houdini and Training Season, both produced by Australian indie producer Kevin Parker of Tame Impala.

The album debuted at number one on the Official Albums Chart, marking the most significant opening week for a British female artist since Adele’s “30” three years ago.
