RM2.1 bil allocated for new police stations

Headquarters will be built in Pahang, Wangsa Maju, Petaling Jaya, Tanjung Minyak

KUALA LUMPUR – Several new police stations will be built with a RM2.1 billion allocation for the Home Affairs Ministry, which will receive a total funding of RM19.5 billion under Budget 2025. 

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who tabled Budget 2025 in Parliament today, said the new police stations will be the Pahang police headquarters, the Wangsa Maju police headquarters, the Petaling Jaya police headquarters, and the Tanjung Minyak police station in Melaka. 

Additionally, RM2.12 billion will be dedicated to enhancing assets for police and other uniformed agencies under the home ministry to strengthen domestic security. – October 18, 2024
