KUALA LUMPUR – A 36-year-old man surrendered to the police for killing his wife today in Batu Gajah, Perak.

In a statement today, Batu Gajah police chief Md Noor Aehawan Mohammad said the man came to the police station around 2pm today and surrendered for stabbing his 32-year-old wife to death in a hotel in the town.

“Through the investigation, we found the victim’s body with stab wounds and the murder weapon in a hotel room,” he said.

According to Md Noor, the motive for the murder is believed to be due to the dissatisfaction of the husband towards his wife, who kept asking for a divorce even after trying to convince her.
