KUALA LUMPUR – Selangor defender Khuzaimi Piee is the latest footballer to face harassment, with his home broken into while he was out at a training session yesterday afternoon.

On Instagram, Khuzaimi posted a copy of his police report, which recounted how he discovered the front and back doors of his house open when he returned from training at 9pm.

Several items were found missing from his home, including a Yamaha Y15 motorcycle, four crossbody bags of various brands and a passport, he said in his report lodged at the Shah Alam district police headquarters.

Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan, when contacted by Scoop, confirmed the incident.

Meanwhile, Shah Alam district police chief Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said he would be issuing a press statement about the incident.

This is the second incident involving a Selangor football player since the acid attack on Faisal Halim on May 5 at a major shopping mall in Petaling Jaya.

He suffered fourth-degree burns and has undergone a few surgeries for skin grafts.

Terengganu FC winger Akhyar Rashid was also injured in a robbery on May 2, as he was getting out of his car at home after returning from training in Kuala Terengganu. –  May 23, 2024
